Expe Chat may process chat messages, agent session names, backend labels, attachment metadata, pairing state, device identifiers generated for pairing, diagnostics, and settings needed to connect the app to ExpeBridge.

The app keeps an encrypted on-device transcript cache so conversations can render quickly and remain available in the native interface. You control the device and the bridge infrastructure you pair with the app.

ExpeBridge routes requests between Expe Chat and supported agent backends. The bridge is designed to store pairing and routing metadata, not transcript bodies. Depending on your configuration, the bridge may process session IDs, backend names, connection state, request timing, and local network details required to route traffic.

Messages and attachments sent to agent providers or other backends are handled under those providers' own policies and retention settings. Expe AI Inc. does not control third-party model, tool, logging, or workspace retention outside Expe Chat and ExpeBridge.

If you grant permission, Expe Chat may use camera, microphone, photo, file, or local network access to attach content, capture input, discover or connect to ExpeBridge, and support pairing. These permissions are used only for the product features you invoke or enable.

The first public web release does not collect newsletter submissions, analytics events, advertising identifiers, or cookie-based tracking. If this changes, Expe AI Inc. will update this policy.

Expe Chat uses platform security features and encrypted local storage where available. Local data remains on your device until removed by the app, operating system, or your device management choices. Bridge and provider retention depends on the systems you run or connect.

Expe Chat is not directed to children under 13, and Expe AI Inc. does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Expe AI Inc. may update this policy as the product changes. The effective date above identifies the current version.
